deadline.com/2016/02/emilia-clarke-set-it-up-mgm-game-of-thrones-katie-silberman-1201705226/MGM Eyes ‘Game Of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke For Katie Silberman Spec ‘Set It Up’ MGM has acquired the Katie Silberman spec script Set It Up, and the studio has moved quickly to attach Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. MGM has high hopes for Me Before You, an adaptation of the JoJo Moyes novel which Clarke stars in with Sam Claflin. MGM is teamed on the film with New Line and Warner Bros for a June 3 release, and a recently debuted trailer got tremendous global response. Justin Nappi’s Treehouse Pictures developed the Set It Up script with the writer and will produce. The script carves a nice little romantic comedy niche in the The Devil Wears Prada corporate world. The logline: two overworked assistants with nasty bosses try to get their supervisors out of their hair, by setting them up romantically. Clarke recently received her second Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, which returns for its sixth season in April. She was last seen in Terminator Genisys. CAA reps her with UK-based Emptage Hallett. It’s the first big screen deal for Silberman, who has been a co-producer on How to be Single and Hot Pursuit. She’s also repped by CAA.
