Pic unspooled in the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival. Film stars Mathieu Amalric, Quentin Dolmaire and Lou Roy-Lecollinet; Desplechin and Julie Peyr wrote the pic, and was produced by Pascal Caucheteux of Why Not Prods. The deal for the film was negotiated by Dori Begley, senior VP of acquisitions and John Von Thaden, VP of acquisitions for Magnolia Pictures with Carole Baraton of Wild Bunch.
