I went to see the Avengers:Age Of Ultron on opening day May 1, and it was a great movie. The one thing I have noticed with all the Marvel Comic Book Movies is they are in a rush to speed through all their stories to get to the current ones. Slow down guys. You have over 50 years of stories to cherry pick through, and if you are too rash, these movies will start to suck.
Fantastic Four started in 1961 and Spider-Man started in 1962. There is plenty of time to make good movies of these characters and the Avengers , the X-Men, and all their friends and spin-offs. DC is even worse where Warner Bros has decreed that DC must catch up with the Marvel movies "or else".That is why there is a rush to make a Justice League movie.
All of these movies always involve a end of the world plot or something close to it. Remember the days when Spidey would foil the Shocker in a armored car heist ? I do and these movies have to slow down "or else" they will burn out the audience for them.
Let's face it. These movies are here to stay. Let's make sure they are good and last the test of time like a true Hollywood classic should.
