variety.com/2015/digital/news/andy-cohen-siriusxm-1201454700/Fans who can’t get enough of watching Andy Cohen will now get a chance to listen to him too. Bravo’s omnipresent producer and latenight host has announced he will executive produce Radio Andy, a SiriusXM channel that features entertainment he has personally curated. Naturally, Cohen will also host a weekly radio show exclusively on the 24/7 channel. “I love radio, and the creative challenge of programming a channel around people I’m passionate about is intoxicating,” said Cohen. “Personally, I’ve been looking for an outlet where I can do more longform interviews, and SiriusXM is the perfect home for my brand of uncensored, deep and shallow talk. Furthermore, I consider Howard Stern a media role model, so working under the same roof will be a thrill.” Of course, this isn’t Cohen’s first experience with the radio channel. Cohen once hosted a five-week series of entertainment-themed live, call-in shows on SiriusXM. He also hosted a live on-air ’80s prom-themed broadcast to celebrate the publication of his memoir, “Most Talkative: Stories From the Front Lines of Pop Culture.” “Andy Cohen is a dynamic and larger-than-life personality whose unique brand of entertainment genius has changed the way we watch TV. Let’s listen to what happens when Andy does radio and taps into what’s fun and happening in pop culture,” said Scott Greenstein, president and chief content officer, SiriusXM. Both Radio Andy and Cohen’s new radio show are scheduled to launch later this year.
