variety.com/2014/film/news/scott-foley-director-tribeca-film-well-go-usa-1201311877/Scott Foley’s Directorial Debut Acquired by Tribeca Film, Well Go USA Tribeca Film and Well Go USA have teamed to acquire North American rights to”Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife,” the directorial debut of Scott Foley. Actor Foley (“Scandal”), who wrote and directed the black comedy, lined up a cast of familiar faces for the project including Patrick Wilson, Amy Acker, Donald Faison, Greg Grunberg and Nicollette Sheridan, among others. The plots centers on a group of friends whose efforts to help one of them out of a bad relationship turns unexpectedly murderous. Foley co-produced the film with Wilson and James Carpinello’s Lost Rhino Films, and with Joe Hardesty. The distribution deal was pacted by Tribeca’s Alison Diviney with ICM’s Alex Saks and APA’s Will Lowery. “Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife” hits VOD platforms in December, with a theatrical run to follow in January. Tribeca Film, the New York-based distributor loosely affiliated with the Tribeca Film Festival, has a slate of current and upcoming releases that includes “Starred Up” and “Nas: Time Is Illmatic.” The Well Go lineup includes zombie flick “Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead.”
