She was 95. Levin was born May 6, 1919 in New York. She raised her family in Philadelphia, working as office manager of the University of PA Scheie Eye Institute. Levin moved to Los Angeles in 1983 and got hired at Rogers & Cowan, where she eventually became executive assistant to Warren Cowan. She would work with him for more than 20 years, also working at his Warren Cowan & Associates, which he formed in 1994. She is survived by children Gwenn Abrahams-Marks, Michael Swerdloff, Helaine Ross-Pearlstein and Lisa Abel; grandchildren Andrew Abrahams, Joey and Samantha Abel; and great-grandchildren Max, Nina and Zachary Abrahams. Services are scheduled for 2p.m. on Monday, Sept. 29 at the Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Simi Valley. Donations can be made in Levin’s memory to the Tower Cancer Research Foundation.
