variety.com/2014/tv/news/fox-nabs-minority-report-pilot-with-big-commitment-1201301006/ Fox has made a hefty pilot commitment to “Minority Report,” an adaptation of the futuristic 2002 Steven Spielberg pic, from 20th Century Fox TV and Paramount TV. Max Borenstein, who wrote this year’s rendition of “Godzilla” for the big screen, is writing the teleplay and exec producing with Amblin TV’s Darryl Frank and Justin Falvey. 20th TV and Par are partnering on the series adaptation, just as they did on the feature. The series is set as a sequel to the movie, 10 years after the end of “precrime” in Washington, D.C. One of the three “precogs” is struggling to lead a normal life, but is haunted by visions of the future. He meets a detective haunted by her past, who may help him find a purpose to his gift. Borenstein is repped by UTA and Bard Dorros at Anonymous Content and attorney Eric J. Feig.
